BMJ backs chiropractic

...chiropractic has been demonstrated to be more effective for the management of lower back pain than conventional hospital outpatient care" British Medical Journal, 2004. Lord Darzi also published a draft constitution setting out, for the first time, the rights of patients. He said: "This is about giving more clout to patients, more say to patients. "By measuring quality across the service and publishing that information for the first time, both staff and patients can work together to make better informed choices about their care."

I found the McTimoney method of chiropractic a gentler, more holistic approach which treated the root of the problem and not just the symptoms therefore providing a long-term solution rather than a quick fix.
